Application of medical failure mode and effect analysis in the quality management of gynecological laparoscopic instrument cleaning
To explore the effect of medical failure mode and effect analysis (HFMEA) in the quality management of gynecological laparoscopic instrument cleaning.,Methods,2,Using HFMEA, we analyzed the possible influencing factors of laparoscopic instrument cleaning failure, identified potential failure modes, developed improvement measures, and conducted prospective interventions. The risk priority index (RPN) values of the top 4 failure modes were significantly lower than those before the implementation of the improvement program, and the cleaning qualification rate of laparoscopic instruments increased from 94.9% to 99.3% (P < 0.05).,Conclusion,2,Applying HFMEA to manage the quality of gynecological laparoscopic cleaning can prospectively analyze and identify various aspects of the laparoscopic cleaning process that affect the cleaning quality, optimize the process in a targeted manner, and improve the quality of laparoscopic instrument cleaning.
