Abstract

Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is a systematic

prospective risk control tool. This study introduces the concept

steps and classification of FMEA

summarizes the progress of the application of FMEA in the central sterile supply department (CSSD)

puts forward the limitations and countermeasures

and aims to improve the quality of CSSD andS better maintain patient safety.
